Daniel P. Hagelberg

Daniel P. Hagelberg grew up in Western New York before coming to Delaware for college. After completing his degree at the University of Delaware, he pursued a JD at Widener University’s Delaware Law School. His father was a well-respected matrimonial attorney, practicing both litigation and collaborative law, in Rochester, New York, where Daniel likely gained his sense of service to others.
Known for being a little unconventional, Daniel chose not to pursue a career in law after graduation. Instead, he became a college and club rowing coach for several years. Coaching for University of Delaware, Washington College, Penn AC Rowing Association, West Side Rowing Club and St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
After deciding to leave coaching Daniel became a member of the Washington, D.C. Bar, and then the Maryland Bar. During this time, he worked for New Castle County and a local incorporation service. Daniel passed the Delaware bar a full ten years after law school graduation.
Dedicated to following his passions Daniel joined Hudson Castle & Inkell to seek justice for clients. Coming from the world of corporate law he is excited to represent real people and not business entities. Daniel has found himself a natural fit with Bruce and Josh, who each are an inspiration in their zeal for this work.
